Here's a time lapse movie I made with a 10-year old Apple QuickTake digital camera! It includes rolling clouds, a sunset with lens flare, a moonrise shot through 7x50 binoculars, house construction, etc. I put the camera on my telescope's tripod and set the motor to spin at the sidereal rate; this created a very slow pan effect. All clips were put together in Blender's sequence editor.

(11.5MB unskinned mpeg-1)

This is a very impressive Time-Lapse movie! The Panning motion gives some brand new effect, like moving lens flare, wide range of view, andvanced shadow. As You see, I didn't use motor, rotating or moving system in my movies. Why? At this point of time, I don't have the needed technical backgroud, just some basic elements.

If You have more Time-Lapse movies, don't hesitate to share with us!

I have lots of Time-Lapse movies on my website;
- Over 50 movies sorted in categories.
- High res movies (600x450).
- Encoded with Apple's H.264 codec for best quality.

And some "Time-Lapse X" movies, which contain MANY MORE shots (400-2000, instead of 50-400)

visit my website here:
http://www.delaat.net/~arne/ -> Time Lapse (or Time-Lapse X)

All shots/movies where made with my Canon Powershot S60
- using its Intervalometer
- or a laptop to make the shots

If you like photography in general: I have over 2000 photos on my website, see the Photos page
